In order to ensure a high quality standard, UL has introduced a new training program with relevant examination for electrical panel manufacturer entitled to build control panels compliant with UL508A. One or more internal contacts must qualify as MTR (manufacturer technical representative). This requirement ensures that at least one staff technician in each production unit of the company can interpret and apply with precision and accuracy the requirements of UL508A, the standard for Industrial Control Panels in the North American market.
